I’m not so good in this city heat. Mama likes to be at the water when it’s this hot. Yesterday I froze an unwanted smoothie that I made for the kids. I grabbed one after my 4 yr old and I got home from a bike ride running errands (and picking flowers from neighbourhood gardens!) and I was pleasantly surprised as to how much it hit the spot today – refreshing and the energy booster I needed with the bit of protein. After, I added a little chakra bowl savasana meditation that I just bought on cody app and all was back on track.
• 1 cup almond milk (could easily omit or just add some water)
• 1 banana
• frozen blueberries
• lots of pineapple
• 1 juicy orange
• flax oil (1-3 tsp)
• 1/2 scoop @genuinehealth vegan fermented unflavoured protein powder
