"Some of it was a heart so I saved it" said my 11 yr old daughter to me after she wiped up her spilled smoothie from the floor.
Kids and I were biking and my then 8 year old daughter stopped and pointed out this puddle in the shape of a heart. We just stared at it in silence, it was really neat – a perfect heart. It truly is moments like these that give me strength – and i think i can say for the kids, too. There are gifts in every moment, from every challenge comes a mud puddle in the shape of a heart to tell you that everything is ok and most importantly that someone is always with you.
