It’s a good thing when I run out of my usual smoothie ingredients as it forces me to change it up. Pineapple is a fantastic ingredient when you are low on liquids or want a break from milks or coconut water in your smoothie.
Pineapple is anti-inflammatory and is great to eat/drink to help reduce swelling with things like dental work to limb injuries. It also has fantastic digestive benefits, and is high in vitamin c and other vitamins and minerals and is great immune support.
I put flax oil in every smoothie but feel free to omit if you’re not a lover. Love this tropical blend 🍍🍌:
• 1+ cup pineapple
• frozen banana
• handful of baby spinach leaves
• few tbsp of coconut yogurt
• tsp-tbsp flax oil (feel free to omit)
• few tbsp of milk of choice or coconut water (optional)
• opt booster: tbsp matcha
